The Andretti Green Racing Team did win the 91st Indianapolis 500 mile race wit Scott Dixon (Target Chip Ganassi Racing) coming in second, Helio Castroneves (Team Penske) third, and Sam Hornis, Jr. (another Team Penske driver) coming in fourth.

It was Dario Franchitti who came in 1st on the 166th lap of the rain shortened race, the driver with the most wins on the Indy Racing League Series Andretti Green Racing Team. 

The BrightLights will be on Danica Patrick after another IndyCar race soon as she came in the 8th position on the leaders 166th lap also after being as high as fourth place during the Indy 500. Early Indianapolis 500 qualifying: Helio Castroneves has won the Indy 500 "Pole" (# 1 starting position) with a qualifying speed of 225.81 Miles-Per-Hour, the Third Row consists of: Ryan Briscoe 224.41 MPH, Danica Patrick 224.07 MPH and her teammate Marco Andretti 223.29 MPH. As you can see, Danica Patrick has as good a chance as anyone in the top fifteen cars (there are 33 in the complete field, NASCAR runs 43 on the same Speedway) to win.

The parallel I am drawing between Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and Danica Patrick for this article is: When drivers have top-tier equipment and organizations behind them there is a certain factor of "Lady Luck" involved as to who wins. A car a lap behind you can blow an engine and twentyfour-seconds later you are skating into the wall as you drive over it's slick trail, or there can be a spinout taking-out the twelve cars in front of you in a chain reaction that leaves you in first place.

The better Danica Patrick does, the better she is going to have to do to satisfy the broadcast, print and Internet media.
