This cross was in the museum in Talavera de la Reina. For centuries all tiles made in Spain were primarily from the town of Talavera.  For those of you who have been in our kitchen-- we have blue and white Talavera tiles on the walls.  In 2000 the Spanish Talavera producers approved the Mexican producers in Puebla, Mexico as licensed to use the name of Talavera.  I love the stuff.
