Traveling > Culture Tour in Prague
Posted: Aug.10.2008 @ 3:04 pm | Lasted edited: Aug.10.2008 @ 11:08 am

I like different culture tours and I did the sights of many European cities. The only city I have never been to is Prague, the capital of Czech Republic. So, I think it's high time to make a vacation in Czech Republic. I have already booked a wonderful two-roomed holiday apartment not far from the centre of Prague. It’s good that internet appeared in our life, so it's much easier to travel. You will ask me how internet helps us to travel. And I will answer you that internet helps us a lot. Before I planned my vacation in Czechia, I read many things about this country on the internet. Besides, through the internet I have booked an apartment where I will stay in Prague. I have even planned a route that I am going to follow to in Czechia. First of all, in Prague I am going to see the Charles Bridge that was named after Chrales IV who resided in Czechia in 14th century. I am also going to visit the Jewish Quarter. It’s interesting to know that luckily the quarter wasn't destroyed during the World War II. After that I am going to make a visit to Prague Castle and the catacombs of the St. Vitus Cathedral. I hope that it's not too much for a weekend. I am really going to enjoy my time in Czechia.

Traveling > My Impressions from Vacation in Liguria

Once being on holidays in Liguria I went to Santa Margherita Ligure on an excursion. It is one of the most prominent Ligurian tourist resort cities. There are many villas in this wonderful city that I was lucky to see with my own eyes. I especially liked villa Durazzo Centurione that appeared here in 1600. Not far from the villa there is a wonderful park where I saw a plethora of neoclassical statues. I like flowers and plants very much, that’s why I went to the abbey Cervara in Santa Margherite Ligure. In its garden I saw 60 floral pillars and bougainvillea. I was very impressed with such a flora of the garden. Santa Margherite Ligure has a marvelous promenade. If I were able to choose where to live, I would choose one of the houses located on its promenade. Santa Margherite Ligure has a very pleasant climate all year round so it is a dream place for a vacation in Liguria. I spend a really good time on an excursion in Santa Margherite Ligure and I think that the next time I will go on holidays to this wonderful city.

Traveling > Diving in Venice

Diving on the lake Garda in Veneto region is something really unforgettable. When my friends offered me to go to Venice, I didn’t want to go. But eventually they persuaded me to go with them. We went to Brenzone Assenza where we took a good diving course for beginners. After that we decided to go on an excursion to Malcesine. We wanted to see the olive island or Isola di Oliva. It has got a really beautiful grotto. We also didn’t miss our chance to visit Val di Sogno port. My dive instructor told me that there was a ship that had gone under water long time ago but it was still well-preserved. So, Val di Sogno was our next destination. When we saw the Roma, the ship my instructor told me about, we were really impressed. It was so beautiful. Besides, I couldn’t believe my eyes, that I saw the ship deep in the water. In the evening we also tried not to waste out time. Venice is a really interesting place. In the evenings we went to the local cafés or just wandered along the surroundings of Brenzone Assenza. We enjoyed our vacation in Venice a lot. And I understood that it is no matter where you go on holidays, but it’s very important with whom you go on holidays.

Traveling > Traveling to Slovenia

Tourism nowadays is a growing business and many tour operators grew so high that even build their own rest houses on a seaside or even hotels. But what to do if you happen to go for a holiday without any help of a tour operator? Where to go and where to stay is only your matter. As for me, so this time I am going on holidays to Slovenia and I decided to rely on myself in search for the accommodation. I am so tired of the hotel service, so I want to try something new. Besides, my friend told me that when she went to Finland, she found a nice cottage on the internet. She did so because she hadn’t enough money to stay at a hotel. And she was really satisfied with the cottage she rented. So I decided to follow her example and search for something where to live on-line. I hope I will really have a nice trip to Slovenia as I was told that this country has over as more than fifteen natural thermal and climatic health resorts where I can really relax and improve my health. Besides, people who have ever visited Slovenia, say that it has really marvelous nature and delicious cuisine. So I hope I hope that I won’t be mistaken in my choice.

Europe's Alps. After all, it was here that Alpine skiing as we know it was born and perfected. So pick your preferred style of ski town (small village, large town, or small city) and foreign culture (Austro-German, Swiss-German, French-German, French, or Italian), and be prepared for a trip that is as much about fabulous food, rubbing elbows with an international cast of characters, and marveling at spectacular mountain scenery as it is about skiing.

For ski travelling, not only the pistes and snowy weather are important but as well restaurants, nightlife, shopping, après-ski, nightlife and the activities available besides skiing and snowboarding. Alpine skiing (or downhill skiing) is a recreational activity and sport involving sliding down snow-covered hills with long, thin skis attached to each foot. Self catering vacation rentals is an extremely popular choice with people booking ski vacations as they provide an ideal home-from-home base from where other elements of a vacation can be enjoyed, as well as spending time on the ski slopes. The mountain landscapes of any ski resort are breathtaking, and the surrounding countryside can provide sight-seeing opportunities as well as locations from where the all important apres-ski can be fully exploited. Self catering farmhouses, apartments and chalets can be easily found within convenient proximity to many of the world's best ski resorts, some of which have extremely luxurious facilities like private pools, but there are ample ski holiday homes to suit any budget requirement.

Ski travelling can be done in virtually all the mountainous regions that are scattered across the globe, with resorts to be found to suit all vacation requirements; from short winter breaks in France to longer family skiing trips to Canada. The Alps provide first class facilities in hundreds of locations across Europe with excellent self catering accommodation and vacation rentals available for booking close to the ski resorts.
