The Most Beautiful "lie".

                                           The most beautiful "lie"

This "lie" rescued a life.It displays what profound love is!

"Yaoer, the local dialect for daughter or son, I am your father. You must hold on. The police are coming in ten minutes!"

Maybe, this is the most beautiful "lie". It was this "lie" that helped the middle school girl drive away the fear in the debris, defeated the demon of death, and finally survive the quake!

This girl is called Wang Li, who studied at Dongqi Middle School of Mianzhu in Sichuan Province. Now she has been transferred to a hospital in Chongqing. She said when she was burried in ruins, many people consoled her by pretending to be her father! She wants to find them when she recovers. Her most important wish is to find them and regard them as her family members!

According to Wang Li's recollection, at 2:28, 12th of May, when the quake took place, she was in her history class. When the students rushed out of the classroom, the whole building was shaking. They crouched wherever they could! In no more than ten seconds ,the building collapsed, burrying Wang Li and some of her classmates underneath.

Wang Li was so scared that she yelled for help, but no one responded. At that time, she felt too weak to breathe and wanted to sleep very much. She was terrified. At the point of desperation, she caught sight of a big tree outside. She told herself green implied life. At this time she thought she should stick to the end.

"Yaoer, I am your father. You must hold on.The police are coming in ten minutes!" Wang Li said. In the next few minutes, she heard the voice of her "father". She was so happy and relieved and regained confidence for survival. At half past ten the next morning, she was rescued. Upon her survival, she discovered that it was some unknown people who tried their best to console her instead of her father.

It was not until after she had been sent to hospital that her parernts heard about her survival and went to see her. After a checkup, the doctor made a quick decision that she had to have her left leg removed. When her parents were at a loss what to do, , Wang told them," It is better to live than die. Losing a leg is not that serious." Wang Li told a journalist that her biggest wish was to find the "fake" fathers , and regard them as her family members!

Rescuers and rescuees have been competing with the evil of death and extreams since the quake,, These are stories that have been moving us these days.

These "fake fathers" encouraged the child. The whole world was deeply moved!

"Yaoer I am your father."—Remember the disaster, Remember the most beautiful "lie".

This "lie" saved a life, and displayed the most profound love in the world!

Beautiful girl: scare away the horrior by torch reading

Beautiful girl: scare away the horrior by torch reading

The sudden quake made the teaching building in a town in Sichuan province collapse in a second! More than one hundred students were burried in ruins. It was unknown whether they were dead or alive. In the ruins, when the surviors faced the threat of the "death evil". Miracle happened when they encouraged each other by talking!

"Qingqing, the good beautiful girl, have you see her?" their teacher Chen Quanhong, who was always staying with her burried students outside the ruins, called the name of her student, who is called Deng Qingqing. In the teacher's eyes, she is a strong-minded and hardworking girl although she is from a poor family. With no electricity in her home, she usually does reading using her torch when she is home!

In the random riprap, when seeing the students' dead bodies dug out ,the teacher would weep silently! She complained "They were all like birds jumping freely and happily yesterday. I simply can't bear it that they are gone overnight!". Finally, Deng Qingqing was saved by the soldiers! The teacher and soldiers were all moved. When the girl was saved, she was found reading with her torch in the ruins. Qingqing said:" It was dark underground, I was so scared and very hungry. The only thing I could do was reading. This could allievate my fear!" Her pureness was like her strength. It made all the listeners sob. Hearing this, Mrs Chen burst out crying ,and said "Good girl, the best thing is that you can come out alive!"

Like Deng Qingqing, another girl called LuoYao, was burried in the ruins and her feet was injured! Inspired by "the dream of piano", she tried not to sleep! She told herself to fight on to survive. In the end she won, too!

No.1 Middle School of Beichuan is the place which suffered most casualty in the quake. The school had over 3000 students. The moment the earthquake took place only three classes were having PE classes outdoors. So the rest of the teachers and students all became victims of the quake, some of whom were lucky enough to be rescued later.

One of the teachers named Li Jiapiing was having class when the building began to shake. The classroom was on the first floor. She was only a few meters away from safety. If she had rushed out of the classroom when feeling the shaking, she would have survived the quake. But that was not her choice. Instead, she held on to the falling door of the classroom and dragged her students out one after another until 36 students were safe. But at that time the ceiling collapsed, buring her and another four students inside the classroom. She didn't die instantly. After being burried for two days,
