Well gosh. How excitement! I am at Melbourne airport and it is about 2 hours before my plane leaves, and an hour before i have to farewell my Vati for THREE MONTHS...

I am nervous but excited but very very nervous. We've signed my baggage in and gotten boarding passes etc,  I know that I have window seats on all the flights so that is good. We leave here at 5 in the evening and get to Singapore @ 9:45 (their time), then we have about two hours and leave at 11:45 at night. I remember Singapore looking fantastic when we flew into there at night a few years ago, it was all lit up and very very pretty. The next flight is to Paris and we get there at, I think, 6 in the morning, then the french exchange program organisers will take those of us who have train connections to catch to the station (je suis un gare), get us on the train and I should be with Elizabeth by lunchtime (350km to Lyon from Paris)- that's about 10 @ night here in Australia.
