Haunted Kiss

Inside an old green beetle
We waited wth hushed breath
The rain washes the sky
And I feel so much shame

Tell me. You feel pangs of it too
I wished it would flood forever
You kept quiet, I hated you
The wretched sun ........www.blogtext.org/hatchzel

Circulus Vitiosus

Deep in a jungle forest
A babboon says to meerkat
"I wonder about humans.
They are interesting.
They walk on two feet.
with their noses up high
As if sniffing for food"

Meerkat scratches his ear
"You are wrong my friend.
Their nose is a signal
They are superior to us.
Noses are often different
They are made of plastic
And they pay highly for it"

Babboon picks a leaf
"Tell me, jungle pal
Why do humans wear
those funny leaves?

When in disgrace with fortune and men's eyes
I all alone beweep my outcast state,
And trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries,
And look upon myself, and curse my fate,
Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,
Featured like him, like him with friends possessed,
Desiring this man's art, and that man's scope,
With what I most enjoy contented least;
Yet in these thoughts my self almost despising,
Haply I think on thee, and then my state,
Like to the lark at break of day arising
From sullen earth, sings hymns at heaven's gate;
For thy sweet love remembered such wealth brings
That then I scorn to change my state with kings.

Idol ko si Shakespeare at sa lahat ng kanyang sonnets, ito ang aking paborito. Memoryado ko pa rin at ngayon ay tinangka kong gawing Filipino Version. Sana ay magustuhan ninyo.

Vanity Circus

When I was 6 years old
I looked at mom's face
She had lines around her mouth
Like cracked soil in a pot

When I was 10 years old
I had a teacher
She wears Chanel No.5
But her eyes drooped

When I was 12 years old
I had a favorite vendor
She sells my favorite pudding
Her hands crawl of spider veins

When I was 18 years old
I danced with 18 roses
I am forever young
My mom's lines grew ten fold

When I was 24 years old
My face was changed
Just a bit
Paranoia sets in

When I was 26 years old
My boyfriend saw a grey strand
I freaked out, cried like hell
I pulled it out with angst

When I was 28 years old
I saw lines under my eyes
I look like a raccoon
Creams piled up on my pores

I am going 29 years old
My face starts to age
Acceptance is on its way
I feel more calm

I looked into a mirror
I count them every Sunday
Eagle's feet around my mouth
I reach for a regenerist

I wake up from a silk pillow
I face another day of aging
I am me. vanity fades slowly
I will be aright

Hopefully I will age gracefully.

As He Sleeps

As He Sleeps

In the shadows of the pale blue light
I gazed upon his half covered face
His chest rises to my contentment
I wanted to taste his lips
Yet I stopped myself
Even in slumber, he is too beautiful

With each word I type
The curve of his relaxed smile
Kills me in a resurrecting way
I yearn for him though he is near
I desire him always
His eyes closed like an angel

He stirs in his dreams
I smiled at what I have
Behold life's greatest gift
I was lost with broken dreams
And yet he found me
I await his sweet awakening

Growing up too Fast, Youth Wasted

I rode on the 6 train today

Crowded since it is the weekend

A mother and a daughter gets in

Mom starts cursing "What the fuck?"

Daughter looks with admiration

I saw Mom's back and bulging fat

A huge tattoo of a skull and a flower

She continues to curse, such a tramp

Men looks at her with disgust,

At her daughter with sheer lust

Daughter wears a tight shirt

Exposing her belly

I saw her back

And I saw the same tattoo

But it is a smaller version

She could be no more than fourteen

Yet she looks so old, so used

She looks up to a person

Too insane to be even called a Parent

I saw something so disturbing

On her right wrist are fresh stitches

A deep cut slash shows on her soft skin

I think it is just new, just executed

I wonder how come, I look at her

Appearing to be happy licking her lollipop

She smiles with such pretense

I realized she is old already

So tired of life, too hurried

Wasted Youth I call her

Her mother too licks a lollipop

A perverted black man

Stands behind her, smirking with pride

I saw it coming, he goes in for the kill

He starts to rub himself against her

On her behind, he pleasures himself

So sick, so disgusting, so cruel

I look at the man, a smirk again

Wanted to punch him

But wait, she enjoys it

She is smiling......disturbingly

A girl born to be be sexual

At a very early time

I look at the mother

I wanted to slap her

She caused her future misery

They got off at 51st street

My eyes followed them

Hoping and Praying

That maybe a little innocent girl

Still lives under that pretentious tattoo

The TV is a very Effective Wall

Two persons are in one room

But are completely separated

Completely oblivious to each other

The TV is a very effective wall

Man watches a movie

and the woman looks at the time

Continues typing on the laptop

Sighing, mind in another place

The TV is a very effective wall

No words, no touch exchanged

Maybe it is disinterest

Perhaps it is a routine

It can be too much familiarity

The TV is a very effective wall

Time stretched for more than a year

Excitement so hard to find

Got used to, so predictable

The TV is a very effective wall

Is there more to find out about the other?

Does time change everything?

Is this the pattern for every couple?

The TV is a very effective wall

Woman feels nothing

Man gets too complacent

Mechanical Scene exists

The TV is a very effective wall

Love is like a roller coaster

Highs and loops of passion

Then the ride ends to a halt

The TV is a very effective wall

Then love becomes a routine

An obligation, an expectation

Labels everything, equates to boring

The TV is a very effective wall

Acts of affection is sporadic

Complacence sets in

Very rare that both are sincere

The TV is a very effective wall

Man watches a movie

and the woman looks at the time

Continues typing on the laptop

The TV is a very effective wall

Turn it off

Tune in to the heart

Talk and listen

The TV is a very effective wall

Believe and try

Hold on to love

Why together?

Perhaps there is hope

Listen to words

The TV will always be viewed

But turn it off

Before the last flicker of love

Between Man and Woman

Dies down

 Man still watches TV

and Woman ends this Piece

With a question mark ?
