when i read ur latest blog regarding your 1st day of teaching namiss ko tuloy ang pagtuturo. 3 years din kasi akong humawak ng kinder class and na mi miss ko tuloy yong mga kalambingan, kakulitan ng mga pupils ko. yes, its true na parang bumalik ka for 2nd childhood kasi kailangan nila maramdaman na parang friend and playmate ka nila. yong pagkanta ng mga nuresery songs at pagbigkas ng mga nursery rhymes. tapos yong paggawa ng mga productions during program. hayy.... nakakamiss talaga. makakabalik pa kaya ako sa pagtuturo????

 re-education are not just for parents sometimes... so frustrating to know that usually, teachers need to be re-educated especially in most public schools in our country & some private schools. i have a major problem these days. my tutee who is a CWA is mainstreamed in a regular 2nd year highschool class. & it seems his teachers (private school) need to be re-educated. the administrators, who have accepted such a case are not even that willing to implement an IEP for this child. yearly, the parents of this child meet with the administrator & the teachers to update them with the child's annual evaluation. sad to say that the evaluation is just read to them & it stops there. the respected individuals DO NOT base their program to meet the needs of this special child... well, pity to the child... pity to these people... they don't see the gift beyond these special children...

 hi, nakita ko yung blog mo sa myspace and copied the website na nirefer mo dun. So ito ako ngayon at sumusulat sa'yo. I'm a management acctg. graduate and currently working as a bookkeeper. Finished my Diploma in Special Education last march2004 and hopefully by mid-October ay matatapos ko na rin yung ilang units ko sa Diploma in Professional Education. Para mag qualify ako sa LET Exam by May 2007. Salamat sa blog mo at marami akong nakuhang advice. Kaya hihingi sa ako nung list of agencies na possible kong ma applayan in the near future. I don't plan to work there unless I have an experience here. Kasi para sa akin, ako ay isang sundalong susugod sa giyera na dapat may bitbit na armas. problem is they always get disappointed from the time
they will inquire at the embassy because of the long
processing time. And I also always got disappointed
with this. Now here comes my uncle, who is already a
citizen there in US and he told me that the easiest
way is thru a tourist visa and in that case he is
willing to help me. Ma'am if I will get that tourist
visa, do u have any idea how much will i spend? and if
God permits, can a tourist visa be changed into a work
visa, etc? there in US?I hope to hear from you again

Hazel, are the teacher in NY that is mentioned in POEA
forum? What a coincidence, actually, I want to connect
to you as I am in PA, close to NY. My niece went to
school with EWorld Resource Center and I have talked
to Mr. Gibbs several times in fact I think it was
Spring when his company turned controversial on the
ground that they don't have job orders. This prompted
me to talk to him and it was a nice gesture that he
returned my call but lately I don't hear from him,
twice I left message but he's not returning my call so
I don't know what's going on as my Niece has been
silent lately but supposedly she's taking the
Certification Exam with ABCTE. There are only five
states where this ABCTE is patronized and one is PA.
I have been talking to them and said as long as my
niece does full compliance, positively she can find a
teaching job in US. Someone forwarded me a list of
Phil. agencies for teachers, in the forum HealthQuest,
Badilla and Arrowhead seems popular.

So EWorld was your agency, did Mr. Gibbs company
EWorldstaffing.com get you the job in NY? I appreciate
your email as I'm in process of doing research for
teachers. More or less I'm done with nurses and PT so
I have to find something for teachers as well.
