| Runescape is a wonderful and free mmorpg game that now has a HD setting for better graphics and play quality. In all of the Runescape skill sets that you can level up (and there is no cap on how many skills you can level, in fact all are encouraged) the Slayer skill has several tasks that can be done to level it. These are given from a set of masters throughout the game and range from very easy to extremely difficult, depending on the master you are at.
These are the common tasks that you can get from Master Turael in Runescape. He can be found in a cottage near the Burthorpe south entrance. There are no requirements to doing these tasks and they are considered the easiest slayer tasks in the game. This is where you'll go for the beginning part of leveling up the Slayer ability for your runescape account.
Cave Bugs and Cave Slime - Turael may have you go off to slay these two. They are going to be found in the Lumbridge Swamp Caves.
Cows - These docile creatures may be on the chopping block. You can find these all over Runescape, usually in fenced in cow pens.
Birds - Thankfully, chickens will fall into this category. So you can go to any farm and slay chickens throughout the land of Runescape, or go to Ape Atoll.
Bears - Bears are another animal that may be on the list to slay. These are going to be in the Ardougne Mine or you can travel north of Falador to find them.
Banshees and Crawling Hands - These both are going to be found in the Canifis Slayer Tower. They are just one of many that Turael may give you to slay to level up your skill.
Bats - These flying creatures are another on the list. They are found in the Taverley Dungeon and all near the Keep La Faye.
Minotaurs - If Turael sends you to slay Minotaurs you'll have to go to the Stronghold of Security to get these done.
Zombies - Getting this one is pretty fun, who doesn't want to slay the undead? You'll find zombies in the Edgeville Dungeon.
Monkeys - Monkeys are found all over Ape Atoll and in Karamja Island.
Spiders - Getting spiders to kill will send you deep into the Varrock Sewers section of the map.
Skeletons - If he sends you to kill skeletons you'll have a variety of spots to choose from. Skeletons are going to be in the Draynor Manor, around the Karamja Volcano, and the Edgeville Dungeon.
Scorpions - Getting scorpions to slay for leveling will have you going to the Chasm Mine or the Barbarian Mine. They also are in Al Kharid. You can make more runescape gold there.
Wolves - Finding a wolf to slay is easy, just head up to the White Wolf Mountain and have your fill of hunting.
Goblins - If you are sent to slay goblins, you'll be finding these all around Kumbridge or by going to the Goblin Village.
Desert Lizards - Being told to slay desert lizards will have you going to the Kharidian Desert to find them.
Dogs - Cute and fun, he may send you to slaughter dogs. If that is the unfortunate case, you can find them more around Ardougne.
Icefiends - Having to go kill Icefiends will have you travelling to the Ice Mountain or to the God Wars Dungeon.
Ghosts - Killing ghosts will take you to a variety of places in runescape powerleveling. These include Draynor Mansion, Stronghold of Security, Melzar's Maze, and the Varrock Sewer.
Dwarves - Finding a dwarf to kill will have you in the Dwarven Mine or the Taverley Dungeon.
Kalphites - Rounding out the list of things that Turael may send you to kill, the Kalphites are in the Kalphite Dunge on. |

Honestly, no one really wants to do the work for you so if you really want to make lots of RuneScape money and become a millionaire, then you need to put in a little time & effort to get good at the game. However, to create an elite level 85+ RuneScape character and make massive RuneScape money in less than a week, you’ll need to follow top secret strategies that only top notch pro players know about.
However, I tell you one sure way to totally destroy your game, your reputation, and people’s respect for you and that it is to beg for items or gold. The desperate act of begging tells other RuneScape players three things.
1. You don’t respect yourself enough to make your own runescape money.
2. You don’t respect the people you beg for RuneScape Money.
3. You want to take advantage of their hard work to make the RuneScape Money in the first place.
That’s why you must never, ever beg for RuneScape money. Believe me, it’s a lot easier to make RuneScape money the legitimate way than it is to resort to begging (or scamming, which is even worse). In a desperate moment asking for RuneScape money may seem like the easy thing to do but an hour later you’ll probably end up losing your RuneScape money and most importantly your self respect. Seriously, in that same hour you could have easily made 50K in RuneScape money employing the right tactics.
Sure, there are people who will give away things for free to low-levels. As a matter of fact, I have a friend that once gave away a whole set of rune to random passer bys and I’ve even given away party hats to total strangers (I’m an old player). The important thing to know is that RuneScape gamers usually only give away stuff to people that aren’t begging for it in the first place! It’s funny but true… so if another RuneScape player surprises you with a freebie, be thankful for the gift but move on and definitely don’t try to make a RuneScape living that way.
I have nothing to say about scamming except that it totally sucks. If you’re willing to stoop to the lowest level of dishonesty to get your money by scamming or hacking (especially when there’s a far easier and more honest way), then there’s nothing anyone can do to help you.
Have you ever seen a pro player beg for runescape money? Have you ever seen a level 80+ beg because “they lost all their RuneScape money in the wildy?” Have you ever heard of a top notch player that doesn’t have time to make RuneScape money or to train stats? No… so if you want to preserve your pride and learn to play RuneScape at an elite level always follow the simple rules I just told you about. |

| One of the most interesting feature of such games is the currency used. A currency in an online game is actually just like scores in any ordinary game. However, these points can be used to acquire special items. In many games, special items are very important. They help the players gain new levels more quickly, and the success or failure of an adventure often depends on these special items. As a result, many players, especially those with new characters, choose to buy game currencies with real cash. But the problem is, where can they find reliable sellers? After all, the Internet is a huge place. Fortunately, there are websites that serve this specific requirement. These websites are also known as marketplaces. Similar to any marketplace you find online, you will be able to carry out online transactions with other members of the website.
For instance, you will be able to buy or sell runescape gold. Sometimes, you may also be able to buy or sell full accounts. That means your account comes with everything you need in the game and you won't need to start off as a beginner.
Of course, you will have to careful when dealing with anyone online. Usually, such marketplaces have some kind of feedback system, where members can leave either positive or negative feedback based on their trades. The more positive feedback a member has, the easier it is to get other members to trust him and trade with him. If you are going to trade with someone with no feedback (e.g. trading with a new member), then make sure that the transaction is a small one. Just in case the person on the other end fail to deliver, you don't stand to lose much. Trade wisely and minimize your risk.
Once a transaction has been confirmed, further instructions on how to complete the transfer will be sent to you either via email or instant messenger. If it's a currency transfer, you may need to fix a time to meet in the game so that the right amount of currency can be transferred to you. If it's an account you are buying, the full account details can be sent to you directly via email.
In addition, online games marketplaces have evolved to serve the different needs of their members. You may even be able to buy or sell websites, domain names, scripts, ebooks, images, software and other digital files.
By visiting similar marketplaces regularly, you may be able to pick up some great deals. That is because most deals are conducted in auction style. Auction means a deal may start off with a really low bid, and the seller hopes that more people can bid on whatever he is selling. If there are few bidders to compete, you may find yourself buying something that you want at a really low price.
Most importantly, the bidding process is often fun, and may even be addictive. Get hooked if you will and enjoy yourself on these great game marketplaces. |

Runescape is a fun multiplayer RPG that people from around the world are eligible to play. There are quests to do, monsters to kill, and rare items to get.
Step: 1.Get to know the map, this will make Runescape less complicated.
2.Make friends, at some point you will get bored and want someone to talk to.
3.Make some runescape gold! Here is a quick guide to making money: (Please note that the January 2, 2008 update killed off almost every way to use these methods; the 3k+ Trade Limit)
●Members: Buy Water-filled vials. You want to buy them from the Ardougne general store. The go onto the forums and sell them for 250 gold each no more, no less
●Members: Once you have around 1 million gold, you may want to start merchanting (What people in RuneScape call the practice of buying low and selling high) Rune or Dragon Items, or perhaps something else you believe can be made into profit. It is best to sell items in World 2 for Members.
●Free-Players: Kill cows for cow hides, bank and continue until you have 100 (about 3.3 runs). Sell this 100 for 10k at Al-Kharid bank.
●Free-Players: Kill chickens and sell the feathers 4-7 each, or buy feathers 3 each and then sell them 4-7 each.
●Free-players and members: Air Run See the Air Running guide on WikiHow here. Once you have 60k from that, buy bronze arrows from the Varrock Archery Shop, they cost 6gp each and sell for 20gp each. Now you have 200k! =)
4.Once you have a good amount of money, buy cooked lobsters for 200-220 gp. Remember to be firm with your price when re-selling for 240+.
5.3Train hard, here's another quick guide: ●Members: The only Rock Crabs in the game are in the Members' Area of Relleka. They look like boulders but when you approach them they pop up and attack your player. They have 50 hp, they give 200 experience points per kill, and they're only level 13!
●Free players: When you start, goblins are best. When you're about level 10, start experimenting up to level 20.
●Level 20- Guards at Falador or Varrok until level 30.
●Level 30- Hill giants. You will need to buy a Brass Key in order to get into the shack just west/north west of Varrock, or you can walk to Edgeville and go down the ladder, although there are stronger monsters on the way, there is a brass key near the ladder out so you can get in quicker later.
●Level 40- Anything (Except Lesser Demons, and Elvarg), but you may want to try start your luck killing other players in the Wilderness area (Commonly called PKing, for Player-Killing) attack white knights at fally as well
●Level 60- If you haven't already, try your luck killing the Elvarg, the Dragon from the Dragon Slayer quest. Of course, be sure to bring food and armor, and the Anti-dragon Shield!bring str pots as well
●Level 70+ - Kill Lesser Demons, Rock Crabs, Ogres, and any other monster that you feel are safe to kill. Generally, try not too go too overboard and fight things over 60 levels higher than you. 6.Get to know your surroundings.
7.Get your character to higher levels through training - but remember to have fun!
8.If you have a question about an item, or how to get something, ask someone, however, if they would not like to talk, do not annoy them. This can give you a bad reputation! Just check the RuneScape Official Forums, or ask a more experienced friend.
9.Don't think you can get high level stuff that other people have acquired; you have to work for it.
10.Get your other things up besides combat. Don't focus on just one skill.
11.Play fair, don't break the rules, and don't act in an offensive or insulting manner with other players.
12.If you are having trouble finding information from your friends, the Knowledge Base, or the Forums, visit a fansite! Try to stick to more well known sites, however, as some RuneScape Fansites do contain keyloggers or other malware.

During your stay at runescape , there will be many times when you die. The question that is most frequently asked to me is how do I survive in runescape? Humans, demons, or dragons are always killing me! Well, here is a guide for survival for non-members. Here is the most basic tip that you will ever get, don't fight people who appear in red. They will slaughter you! If you are in a multi zone, wait for someone else to attack a monster before you attack it. If it attacks you before you attack it, run and hide until it attacks someone else. Hiding behind fences and ranging or maging works just as well. Working in teams is your best bet to survival.
The wilderness, the best place to go if you want to die… Unfortunately, no one really wants to die in the wilderness. The best thing to do in the wilderness is to invite your friends along. Never team with more than the amount of people in your original team. This is for safety purposes. If they were to backstab you, you would probably get killed. It is unwise to go deep into the wilderness by yourself unless you have no items or one item and pray. Teams are usually found in deeper levels of the wild.
Never follow people you aren't friends with anywhere. They may lure you into places that will get you killed. I have seen people get lured into greater demons, lesser demons, hobgoblins, and hill giants. New players have the worst luck when it comes to following people. You should also log out before you leave the room in case of a random event killing you. I have seen a guy with full rune leave the room when he was fishing. A river troll came and killed him. That was 250k down the drain because he had some runescape money on him. Good luck surviving my fellow runescapians and watch out for vampires. |

Runescape is very addictive game, which has recently just hit over 1 millions users. This article will focus on the gameplay and style of the popular online role playing game Runescape.
Membership There 2 levels of membership in the game Runescape. The first being the Free to play or know as many as F2P, there are no membership fees and players can play the game for free.
The second, membership level is Pay to play or P2P. This is the section we will focus mostly on in this article. This membership level is a completely optional service, which allows the user access to additional game features and content that the free to play players do not have access too. There is an extreme addition to the games content, such as a lot more content, quests, player skills, and a lot more to the playing world.
Members also gain access to many mini-games with unique rewards; they also get to use many new in game items, such as armor and weapons. On top of the extra content, members also receive a larger bank to store there items and money in. Paid users also have access to post in the official Runescape forums, and also receive priority customer support over free players.Members are granted access to special member's only servers, which contain no in game advertisements displayed during play.
Game play When players sign up for an account they start the game on Tutorial Island. This island takes roughly a half an hour to complete. On this island the new players will be taught how to use the controls of the game, by simple live walkthrough examples. After completing the tutorial, players will then be able to go the main land of Runescape, and begin real game play with the thousands of other in game players.
RuneScape has many sound effects, and the in game music, often changes with the user reaches new game areas. This music is meant to enhance mood and gameplay for the players. Players can of course decide to control the volume of the music or can disable all sound if they want to, via the in game control panel provided. |

Ok you might be thinking what good is that skill? It would never come in handy at all why work on it. Well I will tell you what I think about all of the skills that Runescape has to offer.
Agility This is a hard skill to train but it has its pay offs. I know a lot of you don't like to walk everywhere with this it will cut down your walking time you can access short cuts. At level 70 you can take a short cut to the blue dragons I don't know about you but to me that is worth it right there.
Combat skills Ok this is pretty simple, it's a war out there the better your skills the longer you will survive.
Crafting This is a skill that a lot of people don't like doing there is a good reason there is no way to get levels at the beginning and still make money. But look at this when you get to blue dragon hide armor and hey who can't kill a blue dragon with an addy hally? I would recommend that you use a rune or dragon but that is up to you then you make money alching or just selling dragon sets or pieces.
Farming I am one of few that like this skill. I do it when I am alching stuff. I alch a lot of people sell herb seeds well you can plant them log off for 70 min log back in and your herbs are done.
Firemaking This is another skill most thing is pointless why would I want to do fire making? I will tell you one reason is for quests, another reason is to burn Mage Prye logs and burn one of those monster remains.
Fishing This is one that people just do for food for p2p you want to fish sharks f2p swordies.
Fletching Why would I want to waste my time leveling up when I just need 1 mage long so it don't matter if I can make or not right? Wrong, you make mage longs and yew longs to alch them. People buy them in bulk to alch them you make money and they make money.
Herblore This is a skill that is hard to train but hey the higher your level the easier it is to sell pots and get experience more experience means more money.
Mage Me personally I don't like mage but my main has level 96 now so I can do all the normal spells and ancients the only thing good about magic is I would say being able to teleport.
Prayer This is a hard skill to raise but just burry all the bones you see and next thing you know you will be able to use smite.
Runecrafting It is everyones dream to be able to make there own runes but you know we can't make blood or souls (at least not yet they are coming out so start making ess just a tip the best way to get expereience in Runecrafting is to use the abbys to make nats, laws, and cosmics.

It would seem almost a daily ritual for me to explain to players that have sent me emails that I don’t unfortunately have the ability to give them their banned Runescape accounts back nor am I able to change their forgotten Runescape passwords. These emails mainly come from a couple of the other more popular websites like Runescape Boards and Runescape 100that I run. Sometimes inbetween the abusive responses you receive after you inform them you can’t help I’m asked if I know of any other games like Runescape considering they have been banned from Runescape.
The short answer is “yes” there are other games like Runescape, but there aren’t many that are exactly like Runescape. That is why it is so popular. I have actually written an article on Runescape 100 about online games like Runescape before. This article explains how Runescape has a few defining characteristics that separate it from other major MMORPGs.
Some of the key differences between Runescape and other popular online rpg games are that most online games like Runescape require you to download and install a base version of the game or buy a CD from a gaming store. Where as Runescape is completely browser based and dosen’t require its gamers to install the game first. Runescape, unlike many other online games, also has a free version of their game. Many of the bigger MMORPG titles like World of Warcraft don’t offer a free version. Also with the exception of World of Warcraft there really aren’t any other MMORPGs that are similar in gameplay and have the number of player playing it.
So with that said if you are looking for a fairly similar rpg game like Runescape and are willing to pay a monthly membership fee, World of Warcraft is probably a good option along with some of the other major MMORPG titles - Guild Wars, Star Wars Galaxies, Everquest II, Lineage II and Final Fantasy XI. If you are not looking for an online game that is not similar to Runescape in gameplay style but is free and popular you could check out a few major titles listed in this Most Popular MMORPG list or check out some of the MMORPGs like Maple Story and Silkroad Online.
If you know any other pay to play or free online games like Runescape please feel free to mention them in the comments below. |

We finally get PvP combat in RuneScape. Players who reach level 20 are qualified to get into the world. Anyone who actually decides to enter the PvP world might also lose items and will not receive a headstone. This update should fresh thing up in RuneScape.
After you have a successful kill, the reward you can claim depends on a number of other factors, including the level difference between you and the value of the items lost by the dying player. Please don’t worry about being lost if you kill a low level player, because any unclaimed loot is saved for the next kills. If you are dying a lot and losing a lot of items, the game will detect this and improve your chance of getting decent rewards when you do eventually get a good kill.
The works described in Runescape site shows a good feature of this PvP combat. To prevent cheating there are various other factors taken into account. The game takes care of all level players. It calculates the rewards and rates very carefully.
A successful PKer should be able to get a good income, and PKers who get lucky might find themselves with a good drop. Higher level players get a higher rewards to reflect their increased earning ability when not PKing, such that PKing is still worthwhile for them. It aims to make PKing a fun way of earning money in the game.
A wide range of new combat equipment and XP-boosting gloves is included in the PVP-specific drop tables. Members will get access to level 78 items for all three corners of the combat triangle, including armour as well as weapons, and a new set of Ancient Magick spells. Non-members will get access to corrupt dragon equipment. |

The RWT of all evil Real-world trading (RWT) is the term we apply to the sale of RuneScape gold and items for real money (be that $US, £GBP, €euros or ¥yuan). Some players choose to buy RuneScape gold as they do not wish to spend the time or effort earning it themselves, for whatever reason – the gold-sellers do all of the work for them.
"There has been a significant increase in the amount of real-world trading this year. If we don't find a solution to RWT now, it will ruin RuneScape."
Of course, gold-sellers have to earn this RuneScape gold somehow. They overcrowd in-game resources with their bots, exploit bugs and scam legitimate players out of items and their accounts. They are the cause of the majority of rule-breaking in RuneScape, and they must be stopped. RuneScape's creator, Andrew Gower, sums it up perfectly: "There has been a significant increase in the amount of real-world trading this year. If we don't find a solution to RWT now, it will ruin RuneScape."
Real-world trading leads to all sorts of problems. We see the negatives falling into two categories: those that affect the game and those that affect our business. On the game side, the legitimate players who don't buy gold feel their efforts are going to waste - why take the time to level skills the proper way if you can just buy some gold? It cheapens the game. Also, the players who do buy gold find it becomes so easy for them to get ahead, they get bored and leave. Mod Hobagoly, Head of RuneScape Content, says, "That's the case with all cheating, whether it's buying gold or cheating your way through a console game - it's fun for a while, but the challenge goes and things quickly get boring."
On the business side, real-world trading is just part of an even bigger problem. Mod Hobagoly says, "Real-world traders believe they are running legitimate businesses. In some cases, though, it's essentially organised crime." There is a whole industry built up around it exploiting cheap labour and involving illegal activities. The majority of bots that we ban from members have been paid for with stolen credit card numbers.
Such accounts don't earn us money, they cost us money in bank refund charges - money that could be better spent on creating new content for our players; money that could help us increase the level of support our players receive. Also, in the longer-term, if we had continued to experience these problems with account fraud, then it could have led to us no longer being able to accept credit card payments from legitimate players.
The α bot Real-world trading is a problem for every MMOG. "The first bots in RuneScape were identified by us within a few months of the game's release," says Andrew. "We dealt with them the best way we could at that time: by changing the game so they were no longer able to function." The game engine, its code, has been altered many times to break macro programs. In game, the first Random Event – we call them anti-macro events (AME) – was added to the game one month after the March 2004 release of RuneScape 2.
The majority of bots use the default character look to save time when creating new accounts - not everyone who looks like this is a bot, however.
As the game has grown, the demand for gold has grown with it, so it is worth gold-sellers' time to make smarter bots. "We keep developing technologies to combat bots, but it's like an arms race – we stop bots, they improve their macros, we stop them, they improve again," says Andrew. The longer we keep doing this, the harder it's going to be to keep stopping bots. "If we don't break that vicious cycle now, it would just keep getting worse and worse. It could reach a point where macro software becomes undetectable."
Removing unbalanced trade Taking into account how serious this issue is and knowing that reactive methods could never completely stop real-world trading, what are the proactive solutions? Well, considering how much money is involved, one solution would have been to allow real-world trading. Why not just let players sell their RuneScape gold and items and take a small cut of the profits ourselves? "We've seen other MMOGs take that route and it works, but only to a limited extent. Some players would sell gold through their own website to avoid paying the developer a cut. Worse than that, the demand for gold was still mostly being met by players using bots and scams, ruining the experience for legitimate players," says Mod Chris81.
Mod Hobagoly says, "It would be very difficult to find a way of allowing players to buy RuneScape items for real money that doesn't cheapen the game." There might be some way of doing this, and without all the negatives, but it wasn't the right solution for ridding RuneScape of real-world traders and bots. Andrew follows with, "We looked at any number of different possible solutions. We've read independent studies and spoken with other people in the MMOG industry. Ultimately, the consensus is that the only way to remove the real-world trading market is to develop your game so you cannot make unbalanced trades."
An unbalanced trade is where one player trades something of value to another player, but does not receive something back of roughly equal value. Real-world traders have used this method to trade millions of gold pieces in exchange for nothing in game, as they will already have been paid in real money. Removing unbalanced trade will mean real-world traders can't do this, so there is no way for them to deliver gold to buyers - and if you can't sell gold, why bother farming it in the first place?
These gold-sellers are businessmen. They're in it for the money and are going to be looking at the bottom line: their profits. Mod Mark says, "The key phrase is 'not profitable'. We're changing our game in a way that doesn't negatively affect its gameplay, but which makes real-world trading not worth the effort." It's a bold move to make, and one that no other MMO developer has attempted. We are fully aware of how the RuneScape community will react to such a change, which is why we have been working hard to find the best way to implement it.
The future starts now There will always be a handful of people who feel it's worth their time harassing our legitimate players to make real money, but the presence of such players in RuneScape will be significantly lessened, along with their associated rule-breaking. With the systems we've developed to deal with real-world traders, combined with the vigilance of our players, this handful will not pose a threat to RuneScape's future.
Removing unbalanced trade will lead to a massive reduction in trade scams and account theft, meaning our Customer Support teams can spend more time on helping our players than dealing with Abuse Reports. Also, our development teams can expend more energy on creating new game content – new skills, expanding on existing skills, continuing quest storylines - rather than developing content to stop bots. |
