Almost everytime i start madden up, i check for an update, and it finally came. It didnt hit me that the update might actually do something untill my stellar defense forced a punt on a 3 and out in washington.

Now in madden 2006 on punt return teams, the blockers do in fact block. I have made it through the entire season and didnt get the chance to start returning punts untill the playoffs.

I didnt know it was a bug. I just figured the game wasnt smart enough to block. I was sure I could remember this in madden 2005. I can remember returning a couple for touchdowns.

This bug fix for blockers during punt returns is not addressed in the readme.txt, I wonder if I am the only one?

Have you been waiting for madden 2006? I have and today was the day it was supposed to happen. The key word, supposed?

The ad @ http://www.easports.com/games/madden06/ says in stores august 9, 2005. A flash animation below this loads some crappy music every time the page loads because it cant remember that each visit i have to turn it off.

 I went by walmart to pick up the game, looked around and couldnt find it. Then I went over to the xbox games and ps2 games and it was in the casing. So I asked around and they tell me they don't have it.

No where on this site or in the ea game online store does it say the release date for the pc version of madden 2006 is later than august 9.

I wasnt untill I went into game spot and looked around and found cases of madden 2006 on the shelves empty. I thought maybe they are behind the counter, and then the guy tells me its not being released untill august 18.

The local game store, GameStop, was sold out of Battlefield 2 the day it was released. Luckly there was a walmart 500 feet away.

Walmart had rows of copies of battlefield 2. What is the point to a game store if it can't have enough stock for new release games? Battlefield was marked to do very well and GameSpot here dropped the bomb.

cmos: i m not sure, does it make them into iso files?
Cosmo: dvd shrink does, and then you have to use dvd decrypter in ISO mode to burn it to the dvd. tell him dvd- too because the dvd+ suck

cmos: for a minute there, i thought our gaming was done, i felt empty inside.

Cosmo: yeah, dvd shrink burns it into the iso, they he opens dvd decrypter, makes sure it set to write in iso mode and then clicks on the folder icon to find the file
cmos: what happens next? he has a new iso file?

Cosmo: once he has it set to write in iso mode, then clicks the folder and searches the iso down and chooses it, then he just clicks on the burn icon, which is at the bottom with an arrow pointing to the disc.
