The Long Tail is a very lengthy scrolling site that talks a lot about a lot of common points. Except this time you can save $6,000 to learn the secrets to being a millionaire on the Internet. All you have to do is scroll down to very long websites. Since I had to go through it, you too will have to go through it to find out how much they want are selling there new system for. I will give you a hint, its over $1,000.

The best part is the how simple they make sound, so that it is more complicated to believe the value they are selling you.

This next text is copied from the website.

You Never Had A Chance!

"Most marketers like to joke about having A.D.D., and even brag about how they juggle dozens of  different projects, strategies, and tactics at the same time. So impressionable newbies tend to think this is the norm in Internet marketing, the way everyone does it. They get caught up in the marketing flavor of the week and bounce from one opportunity to another."

Look at the add coming your way with all of these projects that you will have to go through in this $1,000+ system. Starting with 14 DVDs, 11 Audio CDs, the massive 674-page Workbook & Action Plan, and the unprecedented MBS Internet Research Center 2006 Information Products Survey. Your delivery person's going to get a hernia carrying this box to your front door.

Talk about add, look if you read these two large pages, you will find that Mike sells the seats at his event for $5,000 a shot, one seat. If you have that kind of money, you already make more than the average American. Maybe not.

Internet marketing the way Mike and those like him define it, is like late night infomercials. Except I find more value in the products on the late night info mercials.

I ran across a website today that has been created in the last several days. The website link is http://mike-filsaime.blogspot.com/. It's a blog that talks about Mike Filsaime and his products.

This blog was created just after or soon after I created a topic talking about the to good to be true online marketing trap.

For anyone other than Mike to take the time to detail out all of this circle talk on this link is insane. This blog does the same thing most of Mike's sites do. They talk about how easy making money is and how easy anyone can achieve this. They never talk about specifics because, thats where the selling to you comes in. You see if they told you the secrets, they would have nothing to market to you.

Mike may be making millions, however he is making money by selling products that allow you to make money easy. And he allows people to become referrals to his programs, and allow them to earn money by referring his products.

One of the sites this blog links to is this one: Mike Filsaime Social Proof (http://www.downlinesecrets.com/bm/r/tomei13/home.html). This link has audio that auto starts at page load. Very annoying. The website is called downline secrets. If you go to www.downlinesecrets.com you will notice this page looks rather long. The sign of a to good to be true, make millions website. What James Grandstaff is trying to sell you on this site is another program similar to Mike Filsaime butterfly marketing scam. It is described as a way to make anyone and everyone rich. But before you buy into it you may want to read the "Earning Disclaimer".

Another site linking to the Butterfly Dropkick Script is http://www.gurupal.com/. When I first got to this site a window poped open with a link i found above(http://www.downlinesecrets.com/bm/r/tomei13/home.html).

The triangle starts to show.

Conclusion:

What we have here is a new blog created by a reseller of Mikes Butterfly Marketing and Butterfly Marketing Manuscript. Mike can make thousands selling his marketing manuscript, can you sell marks manuscript and make thousands? You can try here.

So is the trick to making money fast any easy as simple as reselling someone else's get rich quick scam?

I ran into some more interesting things that Mike Filsaime promotes and sells as an affiliate. It's spy-ware. Watching a video presentation about Power Link, Mike walks you through using some software he is trying to sell you. Through the demonstration there were a few things that caught my eye.

When typing InfoProducts, in Mikes Internet explorer auto complete the term installer magic buddy appears.

Magic buddy helps people create install programs. The types of programs and what is in them is unknown. The website was www.installermagicbuddy.com, when I clicked login, I was taken to: http://www.snazzypromotions.com/affcenter/, a different domain. Please notice the length of the main page at www.installermagicbuddy.com. Does that mean anything to you? This software is targeted and marketed for people who operate safelists(1).

Later in the demo Mike is filling out another form when it reveals his gmail email address that looks like mikefilsaime@gmail.com.

The final screen shot from this comes at the end of the demo of the software. Mike clicks on the affiliate link he created and it loads this site below. I make a couple observations. The site that loads has an extreme length because of the size of the scroll bar in the IE window. I decided to look at the site www.infoproductsfortune.com to see if it was real. It was, however the length of the page now has very little scrolling. That is good, the auto load audio is bad. These types of sites have a visual tags that say, stay away.

Who The Hell is Mike Filsaime?

Mike Filsaime is a guy who has claimed to have made millions with super secret ideas to online marketing. What he says and does is similar to things I have seen on TV, late night when its really late and no one should be up watching TV.

Even though I'm sure he has made plenty of money, I'm sure he is not telling you everything, if he did, everyone would be rich, the government would have killed him long ago.

So now that we know he is not selling secrets to being a millionaire, what is he doing?

I like to describe this kind of "marketing" as the triangle trade. I break it down to a bunch of people paying each other to read each others emails. These emails are usually products or links to products online for purchase.

This can be compared to the home based companies that advertise on TV with web addresses like, worknow111.com, or workhome5234.com. These types of companies say you can work from home and earn thousands a week. Yeah I'm sure that works for everyone that orders the info package.

Back to Mike. Let's get into some of these products for marketing that have made Mike so rich. Did mike get rich from what he is telling people or did he get rich by marketing something he could sell and get other people to sell to other people? Somehow he has to make money doing something.

One way is by having seminars about what they do that makes them so rich. One seat at a random event I selected cost $670 to attend. Thats a lot of money.

Another way is selling products online. More than likely they talk about these same products at the events. One of Mike Filsaime famous programs is http://butterflymarketing.com/. This is one of the longest scrolling sites in the history of the web. This is a sure sign of a bullshit website. Whatever someone is trying to sell on a page that scrolls this long, is not a marketing genius. I bet anyone who read that entire opening page would be brain washed into buying Butterfly Marketing. I've bought it five times already.

What is Butterfly Marketing? From the website, its a way to make huge money with an opt-in list. Some kind of software to manage the list. This software is $1497. Thats a lot of money. Almost any web host has built in scripts or web based software that allows its users to setup and maintain a mailing list. And the web host will provide the support to help you use it. Butterfly Marketing makes no sense. Mike has to have something better than that.

Other Mike Filsaime Products.
http://proteleconference.com/
PowerlinkGenerator.com
http://www.instantbuzz.com/ - Another very long scrolling website with bad audio that starts automatically.
http://www.free-advertising-blog.com/
http://www.listdotcom.com/homepage.php

After closing my browser on one of the sites a window popped up, i closed it and another popped up with this link: http://firesalesecrets.com/thankyou.php

Its a sham. Any website that scrolls for three days is more often than not a bad sign for a legit way to conduct business. Any website that talks about opt-in lists and then has repeated Spam Policy links and images usually involves more than you making easy money. Its about spamming people with your products that you buy from some wholesaler who has affiliates with the same people who created the affiliate that referred you in the first place. And then you will make money off of people they referred.Until everyone is running or email around trying to sell someone something that someone has already tried to sell to them.

It's all real easy after you go through the $1497 + $38 s/h package.

Wow. $38 for shipping? This is a deal. No wonder Mike is rich.

Save your money and buy something that makes you feel good. Maybe a book, newspaper, magazine, don't throw it away.
