CSCmd32.ocx, CSText32.ocx Fail To Register Fix

I was installing some software in the days time and come across an error when the software was trying to register the ocx file CSCmd32.ocx

There is a problem reported with windows xp and service pack 2. The fix to the CSCmd32.ocx not registering is updating your CSCmd32.ocx and CSText32.ocx in your System32 folder.

To update your CSCmd32.ocx and CSText32.ocx download this file and extract it into your Sytem32 folder.

To find this directory browse your computer to:

C:\windows\system32 or
C:\winnt\system32

9/11 was an inside job.

Hi there, Had a problem with Travelog World. This fixed it BUT i run this to register the patched files.

START RUN regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\cscmd32.ocx

START RUN regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\cstext32.ocx

 

Perfect.

 hi

i have been trying to install Frx on a SP2 Xp machine and after downloading and registering the .ocx file manually it gave me this error:

Dllregisterserver in c:\windows\system32\cstext32.ocx failed. return code was: 0x80040200

Is there a solution to this?
